How to invite honest Google reviews
Make reviewing convenient without choosing the customers, ratings or words that suit you.
Start with the right destination
Check that the review link belongs to your business and the correct branch. Google provides a way to share a review link or QR code. Test the destination on a phone and remember that a customer needs to sign into Google to post.
Use one consistent invitation
Choose a normal point after a genuine customer experience, such as the end of a transaction. Offer the same invitation without selecting customers because they seemed happy. Keep it optional, and do not stand over customers while they write.
You’re welcome to share your experience. Use this link if you would like to leave an honest review.
Let customers supply the words
Leave the review content to the person who had the experience. Do not provide a ready-made account of a meal, appointment or purchase. Rotating prewritten praise does not make it the customer’s own account.
Keep support independent
Private feedback can help you respond to a concern. Make it available to everyone, and do not make it a required stop before a public review. Any support or refund should be handled on its own merits, without asking for a review to change or disappear.
Check your process periodically
- Verify that every customer sees the same public options.
- Remove offers of rewards connected to posting, editing or deleting reviews.
- Check that staff are not asking for a quota, a particular rating or prescribed content.
- Distinguish page scans and link clicks from reviews actually published.
TrustLoop provides a managed page and QR setup. It does not guarantee a review count, rating or moderation outcome. If you add another platform, check its rules separately; Google’s permission to invite reviews does not apply everywhere.
